The Fennek was developed in collaboration with the Dutch renowned industrial product designer Roderick Vos. A closed patio heater with glass all around, so that everyone can enjoy the dancing flames. A closed combustion is not only safer, but also much more efficient and environmentally friendly. With the Fennek you create a cozy place outside with the comfortable warmth and the atmospheric fire. This way you can also enjoy life outside late in the evening when it gets a bit colder and in the spring and autumn. The heater is modularly constructed, so that a closed back can also be chosen. This way the Fennek can be placed perfectly in front of a wall. The Fennek is available in two different width sizes. The connection to the heater falls in the flue, so that no rainwater can get into the heater. The heater is equipped with a concrete combustion base as standard.
Made from versatile Cor-Ten steel
The use of Cor-Ten steel ensures a special and continuously changing appearance of the patio heater. This type of steel reacts when exposed to the outside air, which is alternately dry and wet. This forms the so-called 'patina layer' (noble rust), a dense surface layer with a striking warm rust-brown colour. This means that Cor-Ten steel can be used outdoors without further corrosion protection and does not rust through. It is weather-resistant and has a long lifespan.
No soot on glass through 'Clean Glass Injection' (SGI)
Reny was the first manufacturer to use the SGI system in stoves years ago. An airflow along the window ensures optimum combustion and prevents soot deposits. The window remains clean and the view of the fire is optimum.
Advantages of a closed combustion
Unlike most patio heaters that are 'open', RENY has opted for a closed combustion system. Resulting in a higher efficiency and lower emission values than patio heaters with an open fire. Operation is simple because the combustion process regulates itself. A closed heater is safer and does not cause any nuisance from odors and smoke for yourself and your neighbors. In addition, you do not have to worry about flying ash residues.
